HUNTINGTON BEACH
The city has hired the California Shopping Cart Retrieval Corp. to pick up abandoned shopping carts throughout the city.
Within 24 hours of a call, the business will pick up abandoned shopping carts and return them to the appropriate store. It is expected that four to six truckloads of abandoned shopping carts will be picked up per month.
The corporation is open every day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Residents wishing to report abandoned shopping carts can call the hotline at (714) 536-5271.
