THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Monday:

ANAHEIM

* Hillview Road: Sniper activity was reported in the 9700 block at 4:27 p.m. Monday.

* Berry Avenue: A reckless driver was reported in the 10900 block at 8:20 p.m. Sunday.

BREA

* North Brea Boulevard: A petty theft was reported in the 200 block at 8:59 a.m. Sunday.

* East Birch Street: Obscene telephone calls were reported in the 600 block at 1:28 p.m. Sunday.

* East Birch Street: A petty theft was reported in the 700 block at 5:12 p.m. Sunday.

* West Central Avenue: Obscene telephone calls were reported at 3:01 p.m. Saturday.

* Brea Mall: Petty thefts were reported at 3:14 p.m. and 7:10 p.m. Saturday. A burglary was reported at 6:20 p.m. Saturday.

* Associated Road: A petty theft from an automobile was reported in the 400 block at 10:45 a.m. Friday.

BUENA PARK

* San Renaldo Circle: A grand theft was reported in the 6300 block at 6:20 a.m. Saturday.

* La Carta Circle at La Cienaga Drive: Reports of shots fired at 10:36 a.m. Saturday.

* Valley View Street at Panama Drive: Reports of juveniles throwing eggs at passing vehicles at 9:25 p.m. Friday.

FULLERTON

* West Orangethorpe Avenue: A 3-year-old child fell out of a moving vehicle in the 1800 block at 9:40 a.m. Sunday.

* South State College Boulevard: An auto theft was reported in the 600 block at 2:58 a.m. Monday.

* Tamarack Drive: Robbery was reported in the 600 block at 4:20 p.m. Sunday.

* Topaz Lane: A robbery was reported in the 3300 block at 4:40 a.m. Saturday.

IRVINE

* Culver Drive at Santa Ana Freeway: A 37-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving at 3:10 a.m. Sunday.

* Alderbrook: A residential burglary was reported in the 28 block at 4:47 p.m. Saturday.

* Bridge Road and Campus: A bike was reported stolen from the Albertsons parking lot in the 4500 block at 10:44 a.m. Saturday.

LAGUNA BEACH

* Alta Laguna Park: Two men and two women in their 20s were cited and released on suspicion of possessing less than an ounce of marijuana in the 3300 block at 1:02 a.m. Saturday.

* Beach Street: A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public drunkenness at Ocean Avenue at 6:21 p.m. Saturday.

* Broadway: A 35-year-old Beverly Hills man was arrested on suspicion of public drunkenness in the 200 block at 1:46 a.m. Saturday.

* Canyon View Drive: A 47-year-old Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of driving drunk in the 700 block at 3:16 p.m. Saturday.

LAGUNA HILLS

* Alcalde Drive: A burglar alarm went off in the 22900 block at 6:49 a.m. Monday.

* Hidden Trail Road: A loud party was reported in the 27100 block at 10:34 p.m. Sunday.

* Mill Creek Drive: A burglar alarm went off in the 23300 block at 6:32 a.m. Monday.

* Via Lomas: Loud music was reported in the 25800 block at 10:18 p.m. Sunday.

LAGUNA NIGUEL

* Caminito Capistrano: A burglar alarm went off in the 27300 block at 7:32 a.m. Wednesday.

* Crown Valley Parkway: A burglar alarm went off in the 28200 block at 9:07 a.m. Wednesday.

* Goldeneye Drive: A burglar alarm went off in the 24000 block at 8:35 a.m. Wednesday.

LA HABRA

* East Grace Avenue: A report was taken of gun shots fired in the 200 block at 2:23 a.m. Sunday. No injuries were reported.

* West Imperial Highway: A robbery was reported in the 1400 block at 3:21 p.m. Sunday.

* East Foundation Avenue: A burglary was reported in the 200 block at 12:55 p.m. Saturday.

* East Pacific Avenue: A missing juvenile was reported in the 300 block at 12:22 p.m. Saturday.

LAKE FOREST

* El Toro Road: A petty theft was reported in the 24300 block at 2:24 p.m. Saturday.

* Hillsford Place: A prowler was reported in the 26100 block at 2:58 a.m. Saturday.

* Orange Avenue: A prowler was reported in the 23200 block at 12:42 a.m. Saturday.

* Osterman Road: A petty theft was reported in the 20000 block at 8:13 p.m. Friday.

LA PALMA

* Bellhaven Street: A petty theft was reported in the 8300 block at 10:42 a.m. Sunday.

* Redford Lane: A reckless driver was reported in the 8000 at 8:07 p.m. Friday.

LOS ALAMITOS

* Tarawa Drive at Howard Avenue: A report of a drunk driver at 1:21 a.m. Wednesday.

* Green Avenue: A report of an auto theft in the 4400 block at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.

MISSION VIEJO

* Acropolis Drive: A petty theft was reported in the 24700 block at 11:10 a.m. Friday.

* Alicia Parkway: A burglary was reported in the 24400 block at 3:38 p.m. Friday.

* Camden: A burglary was reported in the 27400 block at 1:34 a.m. Friday.

* Espinoza: A petty theft was reported in the 27700 block at 4:53 p.m. Friday.

PLACENTIA

* West Crowther Avenue: A female was inside a vehicle while a man was on top of it pounding on it at 12:02 a.m. Sunday.

* Eastwind Circle: Four males were dragging a screaming female into an alley. The subjects were trying to put her inside a vehicle at 3:35 a.m. Sunday.

* Marymont Avenue: Numerous males possibly drinking were speaking foul language to 14- and 16-year-old females at 4:12 p.m. Sunday.

* Saddle Drive: Construction cones put in the street to let 3-year-old son drive a go-cart into the street. Police said the man has also parked a green Cadillac in front of a fire hydrant at 10:20 a.m. Sunday.

* East Yorba Linda Boulevard at Wagner School: Males hitting golf balls in the park struck a neighbor’s patio cover at 2:29 p.m. Sunday.

* Lawndale Place: Malicious mischief was reported in the 17300 block at 6:35 a.m. Saturday.

* South Ohio Street: Malicious mischief was reported in the 5100 block at 7:33 a.m. Saturday.

STANTON

* Stanford Avenue: A robbery was reported in the 8100 block at 4:28 p.m. Monday.

* Bever Place: A warrant arrest was made in the 8000 block at 10:07 a.m. Monday.

VILLA PARK

* Mesa Drive: A report of a prowler in the 19300 block at 5:06 a.m. Saturday.

YORBA LINDA

* Savi Ranch Parkway: A petty theft was reported in the the 2300 block at 8:17 p.m. Sunday.

* Mission Hills Lane: Malicious mischief was reported in the 22400 block at 10:30 p.m. Friday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports: Costa Mesa, Cypress, Fountain Valley, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Orange, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, Tustin and Westminster.
