NetCreations CFO to Resign
Shares of NetCreations Inc. fell 15% after the provider of e-mail marketing services said Chief Financial Officer Gary Sindler will resign Aug. 15 to pursue personal interests. The shares fell $7.75 to $43.13 on Nasdaq, rebounding from a drop to $39.88. Robert Mattes, vice president of finance and controller, will replace Sindler on an interim basis. The company credited Sindler, who joined NetCreations in June 1999, with playing an important role in its growth. CEO Rosalind Resnick said she expects second-quarter earnings to meet the forecast of 11 cents a share by Robert J. Martin of Friedman Billings Ramsey. The New York-based company’s revenue increased to $20.7 million in 1999 from $3.45 million in 1998.
