Speed Limit
* Proposal for a way to lower the cost of gasoline for some drivers:
Designate the right-hand pair of lanes of urban freeways for a strict 55-mph speed limit. Driving this nearly most-fuel-efficient speed will get those drivers at least 15% further on the same amount of gas, while lowering greenhouse gas emissions and making freeway entrance and exit lanes safer and easier to use.
