Motorcyclist Dies in Crash in Irvine; Witnesses Sought
A Huntington Beach man was killed shortly before noon Saturday after his motorcycle ran into a Cadillac at the intersection of MacArthur Boulevard and Michelson Drive in Irvine.
Timothy Van Ostenbridge, 32, was driving south on MacArthur approaching Michelson when his motorcycle hit the car as it was turning into John Wayne Airport.
Van Ostenbridge was taken to Western Medical Center-Santa Ana, where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the Cadillac, Gerald Wayne Collinis, 30, of Newport Beach, was not injured and was not cited pending further investigation.
