Disappointed by Cafe Pinot
I thought the review of Cafe Pinot (“A Pinot Gone Sour,†by S. Irene Virbila, Dec. 12) was right on target.
On my first and only visit to the restaurant, I had a reservation for 7:30 but had to wait outside for 30 minutes in the cold. Our party was seated near two tables filled with noisy diners. The waiter informed us that four entrees on the limited menu were no longer available.
The climax: I asked where the oysters came from and the waiter said they came from Washington’s “Putrid†Sound.
