Airports

* I have been a tenant at Camarillo Airport for more than 20 years. Until [Ventura County Director of Airports Rod] Murphy arrived, both the Camarillo and Oxnard airports were managed by one person. Now we have an administrator, deputy administrator and a manager for each of the airports. And now, with the blessings of the Board of Supervisors, he intends to raise the rates again.

I urge the board to take immediate action to correct this gross injustice by eliminating the positions of airports administrator and deputy administrator. In my humble opinion, costs should be cut to meet the present budget.
