An evening of formal attire will help support an afternoon of caps and gowns at the third annual Golden West College Gala. The black tie-optional gala has been scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Feb. 26 at the Waterfront Hilton Beach Resort in Huntington Beach.

Reservations for the event, the college’s major fund-raiser, are requested by Feb. 11 and can be made through the Golden West College Foundation.

Tables, which seat either eight or 10, are $750. The per-plate cost is $75. Portions of either donation are tax deductible.
