Newport Harbor Lineman Commits to USC

Blair Jones, a 6-foot-8, 262-pound offensive tackle for Newport Harbor, committed to attend USC, said his coach, Jeff Brinkley.
Jones was a first-team selection on The Times’ All-Orange County team and the second all-county lineman to commit to USC, following the announcement of Servite’s Joe McGuire.
Jones helped the Sailors win the Southern Section Division VI title.
Clarence Moore, a wide receiver from Cypress High, committed to attend Division I-AA Northern Arizona.
