They Look at Record in Black and White

I see that Jesse Jackson is upset that Ray Rhodes was fired because of a crummy record at Green Bay this season. I wonder--is he also sad because Mike Ditka was dismissed in New Orleans? Also, will Mr. Jackson be upset if Norv Turner is canned in Washington?

In regard to Jesse Jackson looking into the firing of Ray Rhodes, I can only say that Rhodes’ record as a coach stinks and that has nothing to do with race. I could never figure out how Green Bay passed over Sherman Lewis (who I think is a winner, and by the way, is black) for Rhodes. Maybe next time Green Bay will look into its own organization for a good coach, and as far as Mr. Jackson is concerned, I think his energy would best be served elsewhere.
