Laguna Hills 12, Woodbridge 5--Chelsea Kay scored five goals, four in the second half, to lead Laguna Hills (8-3, 1-0). Laguna Hills outscored Woodbridge, 9-3, in the second half.
In the Empire League:
El Dorado 16, Kennedy 0--Karly Tivenan scored twice in an eight-goal first quarter for El Dorado (8-4, 2-0).
In the Golden West League:
Santa Ana 14, Ocean View 7--Danielle Hyland scored five goals and Maria Lopez had four for visiting Santa Ana (7-8, 1-0).
