McGrath, Sharkey to Meet in Forum
Assembly candidates Jon Sharkey and Roz McGrath will participate in a public forum tonight sponsored by the Greater Oxnard Organization of Democrats.
Sharkey, a Port Hueneme councilman, and McGrath, a Camarillo schoolteacher, are competing in the March 7 primary.
The winner will face Assemblyman Tony Strickland (R-Thousand Oaks) in the November general election. Strickland’s 37th Assembly District includes Thousand Oaks, Camarillo, Moorpark and Oxnard.
The candidates forum, which begins at 7:15 p.m., will be held at the VFW Hall, 300 Surfside Drive, Port Hueneme.
