Montana 73, Cal State Northridge 70--The Matadors dropped another game away from home, as Markus Carr’s shot from the lane to tie the game fell short with five seconds to play in overtime during a Big Sky Conference game at Missoula, Mont.
Matt Williams, who scored 24 points, followed Carr’s miss with a free throw to give Montana (14-9, 9-3) its seventh win in a row.
Northridge (14-8, 6-5), which lost for the third time in four games, dropped to fourth in the Big Sky. The Matadors’ loss was their third in a row away from home.
Andre Larry, in his second game since returning from a three-game hiatus, led Northridge with 19 points before fouling out in overtime.
