Ice Dogs Still Perfect in Shootouts

WINNIPEG, Canada — Nikolai Khabibulin stopped four shots in a shootout Sunday to give the Ice Dogs a 2-1 victory over the Manitoba Moose.
It was the Ice Dogs’ second victory in as many days over the Moose. The Ice Dogs have not lost a shootout in six tries.
Khabibulin stopped 22 of 23 shots in regulation. He gave up only a power-play goal by Brett Hauer at 13:50 of the first period.
Pavel Torgaev scored a short-handed goal for the Ice Dogs at 17:59 of the second period.
Jan Nemecek and Doug Ast of the Ice Dogs scored against Manny Legace in the shootout.
