* About Flyers: Acquiring Primeau, from Carolina in exchange for center Rod Brind’Amour, has helped the Flyers shake their recent slump . . . slightly. Philadelphia is 1-4-3 in its last eight games, but 1-1-1 since Primeau came over. Center Eric Lindros seems to have recovered from a concussion, his third this season. He scored the go-ahead goal in a 4-2 victory over Florida Thursday. He ended the game by brawling with Florida’s Todd Simpson. But the Flyers lost defensemen Adam Burt (concussion) and Jody Hull (sprained knee) in that game.
