SEASON AT A GLANCE: A transfer from Crespi, the 6-foot-3 Luderer is averaging 15.5 points and 8.4 rebounds. He has combined with junior Cody Pearson to give Notre Dame the best one-two scoring punch in the Mission League.
WEEK AT A GLANCE: Luderer had 26 points and 10 rebounds in a 72-64 victory over Alemany. He scored 29 points and had seven assists in an 82-70 victory over Loyola. On the week, he made seven three-point baskets. “He’s playing fantastic,†Coach Rob DiMuro said. “He’s playing better than he has in his life.â€

Ashleigh Garmon
SCHOOL: Buena
YEAR: Junior
SPORT: Soccer
SEASON AT A GLANCE: Garmon has helped Buena, ranked No. 1 in the region by The Times, to a 24-0 record. She has 18 goals and 11 assists.
WEEK AT A GLANCE: Garmon scored both goals for the Bulldogs in a 2-1 nonleague victory over No. 6 Crescenta Valley. She scored once in a 4-0 Channel League victory over San Marcos. The victory over Crescenta Valley came in a physical, playoff-caliber game. “When it comes to [the Southern Section playoffs], all the teams are physical,†Garmon said. “This was a good preparation for us.â€
