PLACENTIA
The City Council will meet tonight to discuss whether to apply for funding to repave portions of Placentia and Orangethorpe avenues and Yorba Linda Boulevard.
The city will consider applying for funds to Orange County’s Arterial Highway Rehabilitation Program for the proposed reconstruction. The council also will focus on Mayor Michael Maertzweiler’s request for endorsement of Proposition 12, a $2.1-billion general obligation bond act geared to support parks and other recreational facilities.
The meeting beings at 7:30 p.m. in council chambers at City Hall, 401 E. Chapman Ave.
