City staff will receive further computer training from a contractor as part of an effort to rebuild their network with a line of products called Office 2000.

The Information Technology Strategic Plan was approved last year with a budget of $672,500 to buy computer hardware and software. A portion of that was earmarked for training and last week, CompUSA’s bid for on-site training classes was approved by the City Council.
