The City Council tonight will consider supporting two ballot measures it thinks will benefit the city.
Cities often take positions on statewide issues but Councilman Roy Moore has questioned whether the city should take a stand on Propositions 12 and 26.
Proposition 12 would earmark state tax dollars for creating parks and protecting wildlife habitat; Proposition 26 would allow school bonds to pass with a simple majority vote.
