Real Estate Firm Names New Senior VP
* Jones Lang LaSalle, a real estate services and investment management firm, has promoted Christopher K. Cooper to senior vice president of its western U.S. tenant representation business. Cooper, based in Los Angeles, advises companies, particularly law firms and entertainment firms, about occupancy needs.
* Johnson Fain Partners, a Los Angeles-based architecture and design firm, has named Julie Worsham Bandini director of business development. She will be responsible for building the firm’s entertainment, e-commerce and other practices, as well as overseeing all marketing functions. She previously was marketing manager at the L.A. office of Swinerton & Walberg, a general contractor.
* Fremont General Corp. of Santa Monica has promoted Brian O’Hara to president and chief executive of Fremont Compensation Insurance Group, its workers’ compensation insurance subsidiary. Fremont President and Chief Operating Officer Louis Rampino had also been acting as head of the unit.
* Olympia Group Inc., an Industry-based marketer of hand tools, garden tools and related products, has named J. David Cartwright president and chief operating officer. He is a former president of Cooper Tools.
* Need2Buy.com Inc. of Westlake Village, a business-to-business online firm for electronic components, has named Andrew R. Wilson president and chief operating officer. Wilson was a senior vice president at Bowne Business Solutions/Donnelley Enterprise Solutions.
