Robbers Blast Way Into Armored Car

Several masked attackers held up an armored car on the edge of Paris, blasting a hole in the truck and escaping with at least one sack of cash, police said. One security guard was slightly injured. The assailants trapped the truck between two other vehicles at an intersection southeast of the capital. A series of holdups earlier this year left several armored-car security guards dead, prompting a two-week strike.
