Dana Point Harbor law enforcement officials are preparing for a “business as usual” Labor Day weekend.
The harbor’s estimated 2,500 slips have been full all summer. But the 42 guest slips have filled up in the last week in anticipation of the three-day weekend, said Sgt. Paul Falk, Orange County Sheriff’s Department station commander at Dana Point Harbor.
“The boating traffic is going to be no different than throughout the summer,” Falk said.
But a change in the weather could have a significant effect on the number of visitors, he said.
