* The Boston Blues Festival, Sept. 23 and 24 at the Charles River Esplanade, will feature Eddy “The Chief†Clearwater and Weepin’ Willie & the All Star Blues Band. The festival includes a concert Sept. 20 at 8 p.m. by Howard Armstrong and Guy Davis at Johnny D’s, 17 Holland St., Sommerville, and concludes Sept. 27 at 7:30 p.m. with the Boston Blues Festival Blowout, a lineup of harmonica players at Berklee Performance Center, 136 Massachusetts Ave., Boston.
