Unappealing Aftertaste
I found Mark Ehrman’s tone mocking and dismissive (“SAG Appeal,” So SoCal, July 30). I can only assume that Ehrman is uninformed of the issues in the Screen Actors Guild strike. The strike is a very serious issue, affecting thousands of people all over the country whose livelihoods are at stake. His disrespectful portrayal of the celebrities willing to speak out and take action (i.e. not accept nonunion work) in support of fair pay and compensation is shameful. How dare he portray them as mere has-beens looking for a party.
