* I work downtown and need to go from one building to another. I also take the Red Line and walk two blocks to get to my office. Thanks to the LAPD, Highway Patrol, Sheriff’s Department and a variety of law enforcement, at no time was I worried about my safety.
I only wish I could thank each and every one of the men and women who took care of Los Angeles [during the Democratic National Convention].
