City officials are still negotiating with Adelphia Communications Corp. on a franchise transfer from Comcast Cablevision in an effort to improve service for local customers.
The City Council is expected to ratify a three-year contract agreement with Adelphia on Sept. 5, according to Steve Pischel, director of community services. Details of any new benefits or services, such as additional channels or a proposed editing lab, will unveiled then.
