DANA POINT
The City Council will vote tonight whether to install three speed humps with signs and pavement markings on Ocean Hill Drive at locations to be determined by the city engineer.
Ocean Hill Drive residents petitioned the City Council in March 1999 to add the humps to reduce speeding on their portion of the street, north of Stonehill Drive.
The hearing was originally scheduled for Aug. 8 but was postponed because of a lengthy discussion of the Hillside Village South project.
The speed humps could cost $3,000 to $5,000.
The council will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the council chamber, Suite 200, City Hall, 33282 Street of the Golden Lantern. (949) 248-9890.
