General Automation Posts $1.3-Million Loss
General Automation Inc., an electronic commerce company, reported a net loss of $1.3 million, or 11 cents a share, for the third quarter, ended June 30, compared with net income of $88,000, or 1 cent a share, a year ago. Sales declined 34% to $4.8 million. The company attributed the revenue decline and loss to its shift from the database software business, which it sold to Pick Systems Inc. this month.
