Genesis Fund Invests in Hollywood Project
The Genesis Los Angeles Real Estate Fund invested $3 million in a nearly 300,000-square-foot office project in Hollywood, according to Andrew Levant, a senior broker at George Smith Partners. The fund, managed by Burbank-based Shamrock Holdings Inc., is designed to stimulate development in low-income sections of Los Angeles. The $60-million Studio Center Hollywood project involves the renovation of the former ABC Television studio complex on Vine Street. Construction is slated to begin next year.
