Cardiac Science Inc.:
The Irvine developer of external cardiac defibrillator devices and software said its losses for the second quarter grew to $2.8 million, or 23 cents a share, from $1.9 million, or 24 cents a share, a year earlier, on fewer shares of stock outstanding. Revenue totaled $925,000, compared with no revenue for the second quarter last year.
