* Record vs. Wizards--1-1-1.

* Update--After demolishing the Wizards, 5-1, at Arrowhead Stadium last Saturday, the Galaxy knows it is in for a fight tonight. “I don’t think 5-1 is indicative of the difference between the teams,” Galaxy Coach Sigi Schmid said at the time. “I know they’re going to come out smarting from this, and they’re going to come after us next week.” Only four points separate the teams as they battle for the Western Division title. A Galaxy victory would cut the Wizards’ lead to a point with six games remaining. Los Angeles will be without striker Luis Hernandez, who is with Mexico’s national team for its World Cup 2002 qualifying match against Canada in Mexico City on Tuesday.

* Tickets--(877) 342-5299.
