San Clemente Fiesta 2000 is scheduled for Sunday and will feature a street festival, salsa-tasting contest and a 5K run.
The festival will be held from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Avenida del Mar between El Camino Real and South Ola Vista and will include live entertainment, food and game booths, and races and contests.
The run will kick off the event at 8 a.m., with registration at 6 a.m. El Camino Real will be closed between Avenida Valencia and El Portal from 6 to 10 a.m. to accommodate the run.
