Residents waiting for the development of Concourse Park have almost 650,000 reasons to applaud today.
The city expects to receive a check for $648,250 from the developer of Portola Hills to help cover the cost of the long-awaited, seven-acre park along Saddleback Ranch Road.

In April, the city and county entered into an agreement calling for the city to build and maintain the park if the county agreed to fund part of it.
