Local jazz veteran Jeff Gonzales will open a free concert featuring the Pancho Sanchez Latin Jazz Band on Aug. 20 at the Village Green Park, 12732 Main St. Gonzales’ band was a regular feature for two years at the Studio Cafe in Newport Beach. The concert begins at 4:30 p.m.
