Aviation Distributors Inc. said it has postponed its annual meeting after the company’s financial statements were omitted from materials sent to shareholders.
The Lake Forest company blamed the glitch on a printing error. The meeting, which originally was scheduled for Monday, has been moved back to Sept. 13 to allow shareholders time to review financial information that was sent out last Friday.
Aviation Distributors also posted net income of $80,438, or 2 cents a share, for the second quarter, compared with a loss of $1.4 million, or 44 cents a share, for the same period last year. Sales surged to $10 million from $3.2 million.
The company is an an aircraft parts redistributor and provider of inventory management services for commercial airlines.
