Acme Communications Reports $4.2-Million Second-Quarter Loss

Acme Communications Inc., Santa Ana owner and operator of 10 television stations, reported a pro forma net loss of $4.2 million, or 25 cents a share, for the second quarter, which included a net gain of $1.5 million on the sale of assets. The company lost $9.5 million, or $1.82 a share, a year earlier. Revenue increased 24% to $19.2 million.
