PREP FOOTBALL GAMES AT A GLANCE : Villa Park (1-1) vs. Trabuco Hills (1-1)

7:30 TONIGHT TRABUCO HILLS HIGH
Villa Park hasn’t won in this regular-season series since 1994 and will face a stingy Trabuco Hills defense, which is coming off a shutout of Laguna Hills last week. The Spartans’ balanced offense, highlighted by the running of Marquis Colvin and the passing of John Henry Jackson, should test that defense. Villa Park’s defense needs to adjust to the loss of all-league tackle Anthony Bologna, who suffered a potentially season-ending knee injury in the season opener. “We’ve played some close ones in the past,” Villa Park Coach Pat Mahoney said. “Turnovers could make the difference.”
