Re “An Era of Exiles Slips Away,” Sept. 14: Your photo of the Cuban exile paramilitary group Alpha 66 gave a powerful message--the loving parents and their toddler completely focused on the weapon. Raising children for war and hatred, what a legacy. And what if, 40 years later, like Max Lesnik, that child realizes, “Fidel’s political vision was the correct one”?
It was a heart-wrenching picture of tragedy being perpetuated.
