The city-sponsored after-school flag football program begins Thursday. Children from 7 to 12 are invited to join the weekly workshop. Staff from the Skyhawks Sports Academy will teach the children the rules of the game and help them hone their skills by playing games and scrimmages. The cost is $52 for the eight-week class.
The workshop will meet from 3 to 4 p.m. Thursdays in Chapparosa Park. Information: (949) 425-5100.
