Librarians and volunteers will be packing and moving about 40,000 books Saturday from the children’s section of the Fullerton Public Library to make way for the facility’s $1.3-million renovation and expansion. Some of the books will be moved to the Hunt Branch Library, 201 S. Basque Ave., and the rest to a storage basement. Children’s library services and programs will be housed at the Hunt Branch for about six months while the main library gets a new entrance, an expanded lobby and checkout areas, staircase guardrails, exit ramps, disabled parking, rewiring for upgraded technology and new computer terminals. Information: (714) 738-3122.
