A joint meeting of the Planning Commission and the Design and Review Board will be held Saturday to review the tentative tract map for the Treasure Island Resort Development Project. The City Council last week approved the development agreement for the project.
Items to be discussed will include plans for the resort hotel and the detached bungalows, underground and hillside parking, 14 condominium units, a public beach with new disabled-persons access down the bluff, a bluff-top park, protection of the tide pools and Golf Island, and the removal of the existing connector to the island and the construction of a seawall in its place.
The meeting begins at 9 a.m. in council chambers, 505 Forest Ave. Information: (949) 497-0329.
