Mobile Home Fire Kills Seven Cats

Seven cats perished in an early-morning fire at an Anaheim mobile home Sunday.
The blaze, at the Golden Sky Mobile Home Park in the 100 block of West Midway Drive, also left one woman with minor injuries. She was taken to Western Medical Center-Anaheim, said Anaheim Fire Department dispatcher Ed Gallegos.
The cause of the fire, reported at 5:13 a.m., is being investigated, Gallegos said. Firefighters controlled the blaze in 26 minutes. Twenty firefighters and three engines responded.
