“On Borrowed Time,” the new comedy-drama kicking off the Millennium Season at the Cypress Civic Theater Guild, opens Friday and runs until Oct. 9.
The tale about a grandfather who outwits death to stay with his grandson is written by Paul Osborne and directed by Susan Marks.
Show times are 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays; the 2 p.m. Sunday matinees are Sept. 26 and Oct. 3 only. Tickets are $12 for adults, $3 for seniors and students and $4 for children. Matinees are $8. A special opening-night performance and celebration Friday is $15.
