Please sign me up for the AIPS (Anti International Palm Society). Pepi Petrucci got everything right, from the nature and function of trees to the limited usefulness of palms and their totally inappropriate mass planting in Ventura County recently.
I applaud anyone’s passion for plants of any kind, but how did the Palm Queen acquire such influence to spend public money so inappropriately? Palms have their place but it is limited.
