Many times I have wanted to write to express my enjoyment and satisfaction with the Puzzler. They are always very clever, particularly in the themes. Determining the theme is sometimes the real puzzle and makes the solving a treat. I have yet to find a mistake until now.
On Aug. 22, 8 Down asked for the Detroit-Atlanta direction. “SSE” was given as the solution, but actually Atlanta is west of Detroit. The longitude for Atlanta is 84.23 W and Detroit is 83.03 W.
