Fillmore 17, Malibu 6--Kyle McDowall threw two touchdowns to Ricardo Gonzalez for the Flashes at Fillmore.
On his first pass attempt of the game, McDowall connected with Gonzalez for a 40-yard touchdown. The two made it 14-6 when McDowall threw a six-yard touchdown pass to Gonzalez in the second quarter.
McDowall completed three of eight passes--all to Gonzalez--for 60 yards.
Malibu scored in the first quarter when Tyler Lempkin threw a six-yard touchdown to Richard Sackett.
C.J. Hernandez led the Flashes with 81 yards rushing in 10 carries.
