Troy 24, Katella 12--Brett Murray helped Troy overcome four turnovers by rushing for a career-high 203 yards and a touchdown in 38 carries at Glover Stadium.
Troy (1-0) scored on its first possession, driving 47 yards in 11 plays. Quarterback Jordan Oliver scored on an eight-yard run with 6:14 left in the first quarter. The Warriors scored again on their first possession of the second quarter, driving 85 yards in 10 plays with Murray scoring from two yards with 3:03 left in the half.
