PREP FOOTBALL GAMES AT A GLANCE : No. 8 Esperanza (0-0) vs. No. 5 Servite (1-0)

7:30 TONIGHT CAL STATE FULLERTON
Aztec Coach Gary Meek said Servite enters the game with “a huge advantage” because the Friars already have played a game. What concerns Meek is how easily Servite handled Tustin, winning 35-19. “They [baffled] Tustin on offense; Tustin could not adjust to what Servite did,” Meek said. Friar Coach Larry Toner would point out that Esperanza has not had that problem. The Aztecs have won two of the three previous meetings between the schools, including last year’s 20-14 victory. But don’t plan on leaving early; none of the three games was decided until late in the fourth quarter.
