Whittier Law School will hold a debate Wednesday on gun control, in response to recent shootings in the San Fernando Valley, Littleton, Colo., and other cities nationwide.
The two-hour debate was organized by Shane Stafford, a second-year student at the law school and chair of the Law Student Division of the American Bar Assn.
Panelists will include members of the National Rifle Assn. and Orange County Citizens for the Prevention of Gun Violence. The moderator will be constitutional law professor Mary Ellen Gale.
The debate will take place at 4:30 p.m. in Classroom 14 on the Whittier Law School campus, 333 Harbor Boulevard in Costa Mesa.
