CALIFORNIA : PEOPLE IN BUSINESS : Pacer Technology Appoints New Finance Chief
* Pacer Technology, the Rancho Cucamonga-based maker of Super Glue and other adhesives and sealants, has named Laurence Huff as chief financial officer. Most recently he was assistant corporate controller of Stater Bros. Markets.
* Los Angeles-based warehouse grocery store chain Smart & Final Inc. has named Norah Morley senior vice president of marketing. Morley comes from the Sweet Factory, a 250-store chain of mall- and airport-based candy-and-gift shops.
* Sam Haskell, executive vice president of William Morris Agency, has been named worldwide head of television at the Beverly Hills-based talent agency. A 22-year agency veteran, Haskell was previously head of West Coast television operations.
* Attorneys Anthony Keats, Larry McFarland and Dennis Wilson have formed the law firm of Keats, McFarland & Wilson, based in Beverly Hills, which will focus on specialized intellectual property and related commercial issues. The founders are former partners of the firm Baker & Hostetler.
